On Campus Events and Activities
Here are some of the many on-campus activities MSC Hospitality engages in year-round

Destress for Success
Every semester, MSC Hospitality hosts “Destress for Success” during Midterms in Rudder Plaza. To promote mental health awareness, motivation and relaxation, we provide the student body with countless ways to destress. Painting pumpkins, decorating ornaments, photos with Reveille, free food, finals goodie bags and support from various University Resources: all ways we help to support our local student body for midterms. Led each semester by our Campus Outreach Executive Director, this relatively new program has continued to grow and provide more.

Halloween Party
Each October, MSC Hospitality hosts our annual Halloween Party. Presented by our Community Outreach Executive Director, this event includes over 20 Halloween Themed Games, Halloween Movies, Candy, Food & Drink and Costume Contests. All staffed by our MSC Hospitality volunteers, this event helps support and provide a great Halloween experience for the youth in the Brazos Valley. For more information on our Halloween Party, please visit our Facebook Page.

Howdy Week Events
During Fall Howdy Week, our Executive Team works hard to provide events and activities for the new student body. In the past, we have put on “Popsicle Picnic with MSC Hospitality” where we provided popsicles, yard games and refreshing ways to start the new school year. We have also participated in “Party on the Plaza” where we provided new students goodies and sticky notes to set their goals for the semester in a fun activity.

Tours & Traditions
During Howdy Week, we host Moonlight Memorial Tours, where we lead students through a guided tour of the Bonfire Memorial at night. We also host tours of the Bonfire Memorial in November for Bonfire Remembrance and in April for Family Weekend. Throughout the semester, we provide tours to local elementary schools, prospective students, alumni and those interested in the Campus, the MSC and/or the Bonfire Memorial. MSC Hospitality members may become tour trained (not required, but encouraged). You can always expect a group from MSC Hospitality to attend and participate in many of Texas A&M’s rich traditions, including Muster, Silver Taps and Midnight Yell, together!

Other On-Campus Events
In the past couple of semesters, we have put on “Letter Writing for Essential Aggieland Workers” where we partner with the Reach Project to thank those that do the most in Aggieland. We have put on “MSC Hospitality’s Valentine’s Day Giveaway” where we pass out Valentine’s goodies to the student body. We have put on “HosPOPsicles” giving popsicles away during the early months of the fall semester. These activities are all in addition to the major programs, tours and service events we offer each semester! Finally, our members participate with other Texas A&M Student Organizations, including MSC ALOT’s Adopt-An-Angel, MSC FISH’s Kyle Field Day and Patriot Paws of Aggieland, just to name a few. We always seek to build a community in MSC Hospitality, and that includes our partnership with other amazing student groups as well.
